We rescue ponies and train suitable ones to work with children and adults. The ponies must ultimately possess a calm and gentle nature, which is fundamental for animals working in equine assisted learning environments. Once trained the ponies are able to carry out their work in a number of settings, often with children in hospitals, schools and hospices, as well as visits to our yard.

Helping ponies in need, and through them helping young people, is my passion...

Many of the images on this website were taken by Aga Karmol (also see Aga on facebook), a talented and generous equine artist and photograpgher, who recently gave her time to visit and take some pictures of our rescue ponies and liveries (and our amazing farrier John Berwick at work!).
